We are pleased to announce the VEBA MEP Employer Handbook is now available online. The online handbook is designed to assist employers through all phases of plan adoption, implementation, and ongoing administration. The electronic format provides employee benefits personnel instant access to up-to-the-minute VEBA MEP information.

The VEBA MEP Employer Handbook is organized into logical sections that discuss various topics ranging from formal employer adoption and employee group structure to participant enrollment and employer contributions. It also contains employer and participant forms, legal background information, applicable IRS rules and state law, a press release history file, and service provider contact information to help facilitate smooth plan operation throughout the year.

Employers are notified when material updates occur. It is recommended that employee benefits personnel responsible for administering VEBA MEP become familiar with the handbook content and give careful attention to periodic press releases that communicate important plan changes.
